A Safe Haven for Humanity

People usually make mistakes deliberately or in-deliberately but what surprises me is when we are on the verge of war  – predicted by all religions– yet we have the energy or time to focus on sections/differences.

By ‘we’ I mean Muslims, who are so oblivious of what is coming towards them – what is going to eat them without any mercy. How can we believe that by blaming/accusing/opposing any ‘madhab’ other than ours, we are actually doing a favour to Islam ?

Do we even know that what great length our Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم went through, just to keep us United? Do we care about Islam or its just the same old game of sections/madhabs and of our egos?

Some love to see us withered, scattered in different classes. – and that’s exactly what we give them when we fight with each other on social networks or even in real life.

Yes there are wolves but don’t let them overcome your mind, the mentality of being United should be our main purpose.

Given the circumstances, people need to be united more than ever.

Is it not enough that people are on streets, helpless children, women, thousands and thousands of Muslims lost their lives –Are we really unable to comprehend the value of life? Value of humanity? Value of us?

Just because some madhabs are different than ours doesn’t mean that they are disbelievers.

If They believe on

2-The last messenger Prophet Muhammed saww

4-Prophets that came before Muhammed saww

5-Holy books

6-Day of Qiyamah

and they respect the companions of prophet Muhammed saw then who are we to blame them? And to abuse, use sarcasm against your own brother/sister–that’s not admirable, it’s highly alarming situation of our own imaan.

We don’t realise, we would drown in this deluge unless if we repent.

Muslim or not – either they are your brother in faith or equal in rights as a fellow human being.

A person is unable to repent until he think about other as one and the same.

Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Free of need and Forbearing.

(Surah Al-Baqarah – 263)

Muslims provide easiness, they don’t take revenge and they don’t do harm with their hands or speech and they do right things with creativity –with sensibility- thats the perplex yet enormous part of their nature – you can’t change someone views except that your kind words escort your behaviour.

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.”

Mocking, fighting – spilling venom will lead the person into falseness and falseness alone. It won’t help your case when’s big battle is coming towards us – even now from corruption, refugees, wars, occupation to poverty we are still facing countless troubles. As far as I know, no section teach us to fight with our own –only to make them feel miserable.

ہو حلقۂ یاراں تو بریشم کی طرح نرم
رزم حق و باطل ہو تو فولاد ہے مومن

(Allama Iqbal)

We need hope, a leader–if not then care centers, hospitals, jobs, actual people willing to do something for society.

And if we can’t do that – In the world of wilderness, the least we can try is not to ravage the flowers.

Very nice article. It’s extremely telling that the most religiously educated out of all of us, Islamic scholars, are never the ones arguing and attacking other sects and madhabs.

It takes a higher level of intellect to acknowledge and respect differences of opinion.
